Bill Gates

How bill gates became a leadership legend.

No one can say for sure if Bill Gates was born to be a leader, but his life’s work shows a pattern of actions that illustrate how he became a legend among historical leaders.

Bill Gates’ legacy is that he co-founded Microsoft and helped create the information age. He started one of the biggest companies in the world from his garage. He also co-founded the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to fund global health and development programs. From 1995 to 2017, he held the Forbes title of the richest person in the world every year. Besides, He brought a huge impact on people around the world. He influenced America with the invention of an easy operating system so that everyone in the country could use the computer. Before computers were something people carried around in their pockets, they were very complicated machines that only trained people could use. Bill Gates’ company, Microsoft changed this by making them personal. This made it so that computers were much more widely available to the everyday person.

Bill Gates is a visionary leader. He is self-aware and prioritizes development. Instead of creating a vision that is unapproachable, Gate uses a step-based approach to make progress toward his vision. Fueled by his passion, he spent years working from his garage, developing coding and programming, and learning how to create a solution with global reach. Bill Gates is a leader that works to empower people. He believed individual perspectives create new opportunities to explore ideas. As Gates noted, “As we look ahead into the next century, leaders will be those who empower others.” Even after Microsoft began gaining success, Gates supported his teams and worked hard on understanding the target audience and developing the products. He once said, “We all need people who will give us feedback. That’s how we improve.”

Gates has always taken a selfless approach to his leadership, spending considerable time in philanthropic efforts to give to others, which helped him achieve his iconic status. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has donated billions of dollars to causes all over the world, making significant differences in the lives of people. He also has a degree of high recognition in the world. The charity work he had done shows that his pursuit of solutions and making life better went beyond just making a profit. His legend status has now become more about what he has accomplished on a social level than business. Gates has always taken a selfless approach to his leadership, spending considerable money and time in philanthropic efforts to give to others. In return, as a leader, he receives happiness by knowing he is providing benefits that can create the leaders of the future who will then shape the planet for those generations to come.

Bill Gates’ leadership style is often described as transformational and serves as a model for many of today’s leaders who are just as determined, focused and passionate about what they are doing.
